We are holding our first ever gaming convention on SATURDAY 18th of MAY 2024 in Bantry, Co. Cork!
GAMECON 2024 is organised by a committee comprising students,
parents and staff of
West Cork Sudbury School (WCSS).

GAMECON 2024 is a celebration of gaming in all its forms, welcoming beginners and enthusiasts to discover and play a large variety of games, inventions and game-adjacent activities.
From traditional board games to instant-classic new releases,
from cutting-edge video games to retro console gems, along with talks, cosplay, raffle, inventions and tournaments, there’s something for everyone at this diverse and inclusive event.
Casual players can get a taste of new games, while dedicated players can flex their competitive muscles or show the game they love.

You can see the bus stop and way up to our venue the
Bantry Boys Club mapped out so anyone coming on the bus or parking on the square will know how to find us at
GAMECON 2024.

BUS EIREANN (route no 236) leaves Cork City bus station on Saturday at 8.30am getting into Bantry (Town Centre/The Square) at 10.16am. They return from Bantry at 6.20pm getting back to Cork City at 8.20pm.*
​
WEST CORK CONNECT (route no 229) leaves Cork City on Saturday at 11.15am getting into Bantry at 1.10pm, and return from Bantry at 2.10pm getting back to Cork City at 4pm.*
*Be sure to double check the bus websites for departure points, times and prices yourselves.
